Ramen Butcher is on its Soft Opening today. My family and I had lunch there.
It is located along Sct. Tobias. Parking along the perimeter of the restaurant is available. I think it can accommodate 15 or more cars.
There are a lot of cakes (old and new ones!) that we tried but my family keeps on going back to the classic taste of Mocha cake from Hizon's.
The photo attached is from my recent order. It is a regular Mocha cake. The square size is 12x12x3. It costs ₱1,850.
Also available in Round and Rectangle shapes. There are also other flavors to choose from but we always stick to the OG flavor which is the best amongst the other mocha cakes that I have tasted.

After our ho-hum experience at The Lobby at The Peninsula Manila, eto na.... sa wakas!
Na-feel ko na un deserve ko na 5-star experience from a hotel. Our hotel of choice last New Year's Day was none other than Shangri-La The Fort, Manila.
My family spent an afternoon eating ice cream at The Lobby of Manila Peninsula today. Maganda sanang opening line if sa The Lobby talaga kami nakaupo pero... ðŸ¤
When we arrived, I saw several unoccupied tables. But we were told that we have to wait for 1 hour for a table because a lot of people reserved ahead🥺. A staff ushered us to Escolta instead since it also serves the same menu as The Lobby. Escolta fails in comparison to the The Lobby. The place looks rundown as compared to the well-lit and elegantly-designed The Lobby.
After repeated requests/follow-ups for our orders, the cups of ice cream finally arrived. Our 4 scoops of ice cream took so long to arrive that we thought of cancelling our orders and driving back home.
